“Flowers are beautiful. It sounds cliché to say that but it’s true throughout every culture worldwide. For me, flowers remind us to be responsible inhabitants of our fragile planet. My paintings embrace color and structure. They pay homage to the great French artists like Manet, Cezanne, and Gauguin. Each tells a story through bold colorations and textures. When I finish a painting with flowers, I’m happy and relaxed.”
